SKY has been supplying the critical compute element in bomb detection units for over
one decade. Currently, SKY supplies the computing solution to Analogic for its
EXplosive Assessment Computer Tomography (EXACT™) systems, the "heart"
of L-3 Communications' eXaminer 3DX® 6000 and the first U.S. government-certified,
second-generation, automatic explosives detection system to scan checked luggage for
aircraft. More than 550 EXACT systems have been supplied to L3 Communications and
installed at airports across the United States and around the world. The system was
recently enhanced with a new reconstruction computer for improved performance. Current
objectives are to upgrade units already in the field and to develop a new generation of
systems for evolving security needs.
Security imaging is an application particularly suited to our class of technology, and SKY has served
OEMs in developing security imaging solutions. SKY Computers has the resources and expertise to gear
up engineering and production to meet the needs of the most demanding programs. SKY Computers meets
